The European Association for Population Studies (EAPS) invites submissions to the European Population Conference 2022 which will be held from 29 June- 2 July 2022.
EPC 2022 is organized by EAPS in collaboration with the Netherlands Interdisciplinary Demographic Institute (NIDI-KNAW) and the University of Groningen.
EPC 2022 will be a hybrid conference where all sessions can be joined onsite or online.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we expect to have a limited number of participants onsite in Groningen. You can indicate whether you are interested to attend the conference onsite when you submit your abstract. More detailed information on the hybrid model and conference website will follow in due course.
At EPC 2022 participants will have to cover their own costs of participation. The organizers regret that no financial support will be available.
Submissions should be made to one of the conference themes, which will be developed into a series of sessions by the Convener.
We are happy to report that we have finalized the Call for Papers, a PDF version can be found below in "Reference Documents". To see the themes please click on the themes link on the toolbar. Thanks are owed to the members of the program committee and all those who contributed ideas and suggestions.
The website is now ready to accept submissions of papers and posters for the meeting.
Because we want your best work, at EPC 2022 only 1 submission as presenting author is allowed. You may co-author other papers or posters. Each submission should include a short Abstract (250 words) and an extended Abstract (2-4 pages describing topic, theoretical focus, data, methods and (expected) findings).
To submit a paper for the meeting, first click on Login/Registration, then on the switchboard click on Submit a paper for the conference.
You will then be asked to enter a title for the paper. Once saved, you will be able to enter the authors, an abstract, select the theme to which it will be submitted, and upload an extended abstract.
